Using the platform

You may use Tabaqat for personal and commercial work. You are responsible for the pictures you open and make, and for having the right to use them.

Your work

You keep every right to your pictures and projects. We claim none.

Your work is stored in your browser. Download project files you care about, because browser storage can be cleared by you, your browser or your device.

Templates and fonts

You may use the templates in personal and commercial designs, and publish and sell what you make from them, but you may not sell the templates themselves or redistribute them as templates. The built-in fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1, and its terms apply to them.

Prohibited content

You may not use the platform to make or publish content that breaks the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or that violates public order, religious values, public morals or the privacy of others, including:

• Sexual or indecent content.
• Pictures of real people, or edits of them, without their consent or in a way that harms them.
• Defamation, insults, incitement or harassment.
• Deception, impersonation, forged documents, or made-up pictures presented as real.
• Anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property.

Generative tools

The generative tools are only for people aged 18 and over, and by using them you confirm that you are. Google's Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy also applies to them, and Anthropic's Usage Policy to the design assistant.

The design assistant helps only with designs in Tabaqat. It does not make sexual or sexually suggestive content; content that insults or mocks the King, the Crown Prince, the government or the symbols of the Saudi state, calls for protest, unrest or separatism, or harms national unity; content that insults or mocks Islam, the Prophet ﷺ, the Quran or any religion; or content that promotes alcohol, drugs or gambling. If you clearly and deliberately ask it for such content, the assistant is suspended for your account until we review the request; if you think a suspension is a mistake, write to hello@tabaqat.app. If you use it for things other than design, it warns you once, and if it happens again the same day the chat ends and the assistant pauses for an hour.

Generated results can be wrong or unexpected, so check them before you publish them. If you publish a picture these tools generated or substantially changed, disclose that where people would expect you to, and do not present it as a record of a real event or person.

The free photo library

The design assistant finds pictures in a free library through Openverse, an independent project that does not endorse Tabaqat and is not endorsed by it. Its pictures are licensed CC0 or marked as public domain, which means they may be used and changed in commercial work without naming the author. The licence is a claim by the picture's owner or the site that publishes it, which neither Openverse nor Tabaqat verifies. A placed picture's layer carries the author's name, the source and the licence so you can check them before you publish, above all for pictures that show people's faces, brands or artworks, which may need a permission the licence does not give. We keep out what breaks the content rules above as far as we can, but checking the picture before you publish it stays your responsibility. Searches and downloads have a daily limit.

Pro subscriptions

When subscriptions open, Pro costs 15 SAR a month or 149 SAR a year, including VAT, and renews automatically until you cancel. Paddle sells it as our reseller and merchant of record, under Paddle's buyer terms.

Pro includes 40 generative images a month and up to 15 a day. Unused images do not carry over. If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.

Cancellation and refunds

Under the Saudi E-Commerce Law you may cancel your subscription and get your money back within 7 days of subscribing, as long as you have not started using the service. Because Pro is a digital service, this right does not apply once you have started using it with your consent, for example by using a generative image from your allowance.

Ask for a refund through Paddle, as merchant of record, or by writing to hello@tabaqat.app. Refunds go back to the payment method you used. Nothing in these terms removes a right that applicable laws give you.

Changes and availability

We work to keep the Tabaqat platform running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or remove features. If we remove a paid feature, we will refund the unused part of your subscription.

Liability

We provide the Tabaqat platform as it is. As far as applicable laws allow, we are not liable for lost work, lost profits or indirect damages. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer protection laws give you and do not let anyone waive.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and announce significant changes on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent judicial authorities in the Kingdom decide any dispute arising from them.

These terms were written in Arabic. If the Arabic text and this English translation differ, the Arabic text prevails.
